Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State expressed his belief that his achievements in life and his rise in politics were made possible by God.
He credited God for his promotion within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and for being chosen as their governorship candidate.
Speaking at the 2024 Port Harcourt Holy Ghost Rally of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Governor Fubara stated that the theme of the rally, “Promotion for a purpose,” resonated with his own story.
He expressed his gratitude to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, for choosing Port Harcourt for the rally and for his blessings.
Governor Fubara promised to support the success of the rally and asked for the continued prayers of RCCG for his administration. He later attended a service at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church in Opobo to thank God for his victory at the Supreme Court and to celebrate his 49th birthday.
