Governor Bala Mohammed calls Tinubu’s speech empty and demands the FG stop making excuses. Discover the details of his critique.

The Buachi governor stated that the failures in policy are a result of the Federal Government’s program, and it is their responsibility to recognize this issue. The current direction needs improvement for effective implementation.

Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, disagrees with Bola Tinubu’s recent address to Nigerians regarding the #EndBadGovernance movement.

Tinubu, in his Sunday speech, urged protestors to stop their demonstrations and make way for dialogue. According to him, there would be no reversal of the fuel subsidy removal decision.

During the flag-off of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign for the local government election in Bauchi on Wednesday, Mohammed asserted that Nigerians should not be given any more excuses by the Federal Government.

He said, “I listened to Mr. President’s speech with complete attention and with humility and courage but found his words void of substance.”

“He disagreed with the situation but didn’t tackle its challenges. These problems aren’t just his to solve, as leaders across all levels – from presidency to sub-national and local governments – must work together.”

.” “We observe distinct variations in the appearances of these phenomena. Within the Northern region, it serves as a significant impetus to prioritize competent leadership and value human rights. As frustration and deprivation loom over us, we must confront prevalent developmental issues.”

The current policy direction of the Federal Government is ineffective. It’s crucial they recognize this and take responsibility for their program, which has resulted in various issues. Therefore, it falls on them to implement necessary changes.
