The government has promised to fund Rangers throughout the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
When they met with the club’s leadership, the state’s youth, sports, and security committee members provided the guarantee.
The delegation, which was led by Raymond Ugwu as chairman, asked the club’s administration to put up unwavering effort to ensure the team’s success in the upcoming NPFL season.
Ugwu promised the support of the government in every situation.
He said during their visit, “We came here to familiarise the committee members with the running of the club as part of our oversight obligations.
“We came to identify the club’s strengths and weaknesses in order to make sure that it develops into the best brand in the nation overall.
“Rangers must win the championship once more, and night games in Enugu must return.”
