The Sabon Garin Nasarawa-Tirkaniya Local Government Area’s curfew was removed by the Kaduna State Government on Saturday (LGA).

Samuel Aruwan, the state’s commissioner for internal security and home affairs, said the curfew had been lifted in a statement on Saturday.
“From today, Saturday, April 8, 2023, the 12-hour curfew in place for Sabon Garin Nasarawa-Tirkaniya in Chikun LGA has been lifted.
“Now that locals are free to engage in their legal daily activities, the military and police will continue to patrol the areas.
The statement said, “The Government also asks residents to avoid acts that might disturb public tranquilly, as they will be quickly dealt with in line with the law.
