Health (N51.4 billion), Works (N40.4 billion), Agriculture (N11 billion), and Water Resources (N13.4 billion) are among the other important sectors that earned sizeable allocations.
According to the governor, the budget is centred on rebuilding and modernising the state by funding essential social services, infrastructure, and economic growth.
Additionally, he pledged to stop any leaks in order to maintain caution, responsibility, and openness.
Governor Yusuf expressed optimism that the budget would contribute to realising the goal of his administration, which is to establish Kano as a model state in Nigeria for social welfare, economic development, and general quality of life.
