Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed his happiness with the ruling of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal upholding President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the election for president on February 25.

This was said by the governor on Wednesday in Gombe in a statement that was acknowledged by his spokesperson, Mr. Ismaila Uba-Misilli.

Yahaya called the decision a “victory for democracy and the truth” and said Tinubu’s triumph was evidence of the public’s confidence in the leadership characteristics, skills, and abilities he has shown over the past three months.

“The tribunal’s decision to reject the petitions filed by the People’s Democratic Party, Labour Party, and People’s Democratic Movement is a confirmation of the will of the people and the openness of Nigeria’s electoral process.

He declared that the success “is a testament to the strength of our democracy, the tenacity of our institutions, and the faith of our people in a brighter future.”

The win of the president, according to Yahaya, who is also the Chairman of the Northern Governors’ Forum, has given him the opportunity to continue providing excellent leadership for the benefit of all Nigerians.

The governor also praised the legal team that defended the president and the All Progressives Congress (APC) family in court.

He also praised the judiciary’s erudition for handling the petitions with thoroughness and respecting the Nigerian constitution’s integrity in the process.

He claims that the thorough examination has confirmed the election’s outcomes.

Yahaya reflected on Tinubu’s first 100 days in office and said the president had demonstrated his unshakeable dedication by making decisive moves to address the problems facing the country.

“The government of Gombe State wholeheartedly supports the president’s vision for a better Nigeria and believes that his leadership represents renewed hope for the nation,” he continued.

The governor asked all Nigerians to support the president and his staff because they were working relentlessly to bring about the prosperity that all Nigerians desired.
