On Monday, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani urged his just sworn-in appointees to prepare for the difficulties ahead by carrying out their responsibilities with the utmost skill and humility for the advancement of the state.

The governor swore in Samuel Aruwan as the KCTA’s administrator and Prof. Bello Ayuba as his principal private secretary, and he also announced the latter’s candidature as a commissioner, subject to State House of Assembly ratification.

The governor announced, “I detailed Samuel Aruwan to oversee the operations of the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs.”

Aruwan is a veteran journalist who served as the first and immediate previous Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, and Prof. Bello Ayuba is an accomplished scholar and leader in administration.

Prior to the appointment of Commissioners in the state, Aruwan was given additional authority to oversee the actions of the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs.

The governor expressed confidence that the two new hires will play important roles in developing and carrying out the policies, initiatives, and projects of the current administration throughout the course of the next four years.

“We are certain that the expertise they bring to the table will help us deliver on our commitments to the deserving citizens of Kaduna State. The governor emphasised that we must always act in the public good and put others before ourselves.

It is everyone’s responsibility to help stabilise the state and set it on the path to permanent peace and development, he said, adding that the current times are more difficult than ever.
