Although there have been occasional security lapses in the state, Uzodimma thinks his government has done a good job protecting people and property.

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has announced Chinyere Ekomaru as his running mate for the November 11 governorship election. He has argued that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the best choice for the state.

This was revealed by Governor Uzodimma on Saturday at the inauguration of Ekomaru in Owerri.

The APC government remains the best hope for achieving the enhanced quality of life and economic growth that we all long for, he said. “I have enumerated a few of our achievements today just to let Imo people know that,” he added.

He said that his administration had maintained its word to the Imo people, had carried out all campaign pledges, and that if re-elected, it would build on the current foundation to create a secure and thriving industrial Imo State.

Therefore, I want my work to do the campaigns throughout my reelection campaign. Therefore, the Imo people I know are very grateful for what we have accomplished over the past 43 months, the governor continued.

We don’t need to use tricks, lying, misinformation, or dishonest politics to win re-election. That is the domain of the opposition, which is silent.

According to Uzodimma, his government has kept all of its commitments.

Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining calm conditions in order to hold a free and fair election in November. Although there have been occasional security lapses in the state, Uzodimma thinks his government has done a good job protecting people and property.

Contrary to rumours, Uzodimma asserts that his decision to select a new running mate is not a sign that he has disagreements with the current Deputy Governor Placid Njoku. He went on to say that ecumenical and political permutations were to blame for the development.

Ekomaru asserted that she will use her experience to ensure the APC’s win in the upcoming election.

This gathering undoubtedly marks the beginning of the APC’s string of political initiatives in the days leading up to the election.
