Gov Otu seeks Olumba Olumba’s help in removing occult forces from Cross River

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State recently made an appeal to Olumba Olumba Obu, the spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, seeking prayers for the liberation of the state from what he described as ‘occultic and satanic’ forces hindering its progress.

This appeal was made during a special Easter celebration event called ‘Divine Assurance of Christhood’ held at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.

Represented by the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Chief Victor Felix Idem, Governor Otu expressed gratitude for the global attention and religious tourism that Olumba Olumba has brought to the state.

He emphasized the importance of spiritual intervention in overcoming any negative forces that may be affecting the state’s development.

Various dignitaries present at the event also echoed the call for prayers from Olumba Olumba Obu, recognizing his significant contributions to the state and the country as a whole.

Senator B.W. Deg, a former deputy governor-elect in Bayelsa State, highlighted the positive impact of the teachings of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star on numerous individuals, both within Nigeria and beyond.

During his address to the attendees, Olumba Obu emphasized the divine intervention in human history and urged nations to embrace peace and forgiveness.

He emphasized the importance of striving towards Christhood and practicing the ideals of Christ in order to bring about positive transformations in society.
