Gov. Ortom backs Peter Obi for president in 2023 and claims that he can bring about change in Nigeria.

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has asked Nigerians to vote for Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, in the presidential election of 2023.

Obi, according to Ortom, is the ideal candidate to help Nigeria overcome its problems.

He made the comment while praising Obi for spending Christmas Day touring the camps of the internally displaced people, or IDPs, in the state.

“For me as a Christian, I say God will reward you and your dreams for choosing to visit the IDPs on a Christmas day that you should be celebrating with your family. My prayer is that God would grant you success in your bid to become this nation’s president.

However, I’m telling Nigerians that this man can help our country overcome its problems since I’m in the PDP.
