The death of Sulaiman Baffa, chairman of the Jigawa Elders Forum and former managing director of the Nigerian Printing and Minting Company, has been characterised by Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi as a significant loss to the people of the State and Nigeria.
After a protracted illness, Alhaji Sulaiman Baffa passed away in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 85.

“Sulaiman Baffa served Nigeria and Jigawa State in a variety of positions. His unselfish dedication to serving humanity will live on forever.
The departed were instrumental in promoting harmony, comprehension, and cooperation between many communities and stakeholders in our state.
“His insight, counsel, and ceaseless efforts were crucial in resolving disputes and attending to the worries of our people. He was a genuine bridge-builder and an inspiration to many, according to the statement.
Namadi sent his sympathies to the victim’s family, friends, coworkers, Jigawa, and all of Nigeria.
In addition to asking for the family’s strength to deal with the loss, he prayed for the deceased’s ultimate peace.
According to Islamic tradition, Baffa was buried in Kano on Tuesday night.
