The governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, has tasked the State Executive Council with leading the State ahead while attempting to live ethically.

While updating the newsmen on the results of his second term inauguration meeting, Buni, through the State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information, and Culture, Abdullahi Bego, issued the allegation.

His Excellency took use of the occasion to remind each council member that each and every ministry, department, and organisation important, and that the group we currently have is what he refers to as “Team Yobe.”

Bego stated that as a result, “every member of the council must get dirty hands-on” and work to advance Yobe.

According to the Information Commissioner, the Governor emphasised the importance of the executive council members working together to maintain and expand upon all the advances made over the previous four years.

The Governor is quoted as saying, “All ongoing projects would be completed and commissioned and new projects would be executed.”

As he noted that things would no longer be business as usual, he said that the Governor also gave them the assignment to attempt to think creatively.
