The leadership of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre has come under fire from the governor of Benue State, Fr. Hayicnth Alia, for establishing a subpar building.

According to OBASANJO NEWS24, the church collapsed early on Tuesday, killing the local pastor, Ahmed Sunday, and injuring others.

The Governor expressed his dissatisfaction in not having met any of the church leaders there when he toured the area.

He declared that the building would be revoked since it was improperly built.

He asserted that the pastor of the church ought to be knowledgeable of the law.

We need to save lives, so we need to find the church’s leadership and let them know that the land has been taken away.

“Those who resided near the canals would leave right away.

Therefore, the Ministry of Works, Housing, and Urban Development ought to intervene.

“I need to know who gave this structure the go-ahead. We require the names of the engineers or architects who oversaw this enormous project.

We must prevent this from happening.
