Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has refuted reports that he is ill, emphasising that he is in excellent health.
After a month-long working vacation overseas, Adeleke gave a speech upon his return to Nigeria.
The governor expressed his excitement upon arriving at the Lagos International Airport, saying he felt renewed and revitalised.

Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke’s spokeswoman, included the comment in a statement on Wednesday.
“I’m thrilled to be back in Nigeria among my people,” he declared. As you can all see, I’m in a great mood and ready to continue providing the people of Osun with excellent governance and services now that I’ve been rejuvenated.
“It is unfounded to suggest that I am ill or else. I’m in perfect shape. I took a working vacation in order to rejuvenate and network with partners for the advancement of our state.
“Those who are circulating lies about my trip are just shocked and appalled by what we’ve accomplished. They are disseminating all those untrue rumours for this reason.
“I’m fully recovered and back now. In Osun, the wonderful work keeps up.
