Gospel Musician Aduke Gold is Dead
Aduke Gold, known for her powerful voice in gospel music, has died, leaving a void in the industry.
Aduke Gold, the well-known gospel vocalist whose real name is Ajayi Aduke Morounkola has left this world.
In the wee hours of Tuesday, August 13th, Esther Igbekele, a fellow gospel artiste corroborated the information that she had passed away.
On Facebook, Igbekele conveyed her grief and mourned the passing of Aduke Gold, referring to them as a fallen general. #rip.

At this point in time, the reason for Aduke Gold’s demise is still uncertain.
Aduke Gold, formerly known as Aduke Penkele, hailed from Ilesha but spent most of her childhood in the Ogba and Badagry regions of Lagos.
Growing up as the eleventh child in a polygamous family didn’t stop her from breaking into the industry – she gained recognition after performing at Baba Ara’s remembrance event and officially launched her music career back in 2004. Her latest smash hit “Nitori Ogo” (2021) has further cemented her status among gospel greats.
Aduke Gold showed a strong commitment to early childhood education, alongside her pursuits in the music industry.
Her academic qualifications included a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations, which she obtained from Lagos State University, as well as a second degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Lagos.
