Tinubu stated that the fortune of Nigeria belongs to everyone and that her family will use it responsibly.

Remi Tinubu’s wife asserts that her family has been favored by God and does not require Nigeria’s prosperity for survival.

Sunday at the 2023 Presidential Inauguration Interdenominational Church Service held at the National Christian Centre in Abuja, Tinubu stated that the wealth of Nigeria belongs to everyone and that it will be used for the right reasons.

The outgoing Senator for Lagos Central in the Ninth National Assembly requested petitions from Nigerians, as they would need God’s grace to live up to Nigerians’ expectations.

She stated, “God has shown us compassion. I can attest to the fact that we never imagined this could occur. However, we applaud God for providing us with hope and the resilience to persevere in the course of life.

Tinubu continued, “Asiwaju is 71 years old and I will be 63. I’m certain I will be one of the eldest Nigerian first ladies. We require God’s grace and everyone to fulfill Nigerians’ expectations.

“Today, as he did on the night of the primaries, God has definitively demonstrated his worth and sealed the deal.” Because, when I saw that 1,271 votes had been cast, I said to God, “That means you’re here.”

“I was humiliated to my lowest point. And the fact that this is Nigeria’s seventh consecutive democratic transition demonstrates that this is a time of perfection for Nigeria.

“Perfection in the sense that, according to Isaiah 43:18-19, we have been pleading in our churches for more than two years that we should not recollect the former things and that God will do a new thing. We continued to argue with God despite a new development. Who can dispute his creator? No one.

Today we listened to Psalm 133:1-3. Without unity, teachings cannot percolate downward. This is the moment for Nigerians to unite, so that our hope can be rekindled. To have hope in Nigeria, as sung by our small children here today. They have high expectations for Nigeria.

“The riches of Nigeria is the fortune of all. It belongs to all of us. My family is favored by God. We do not need Nigeria’s wealth to survive, but rather to do the right thing. And I pledge you on this altar that with your assistance and God’s assistance, this nation will be set on the correct course.”

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Head of State General Yakubu Gowon (retired), Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha, and Senator-elect Godswill Akpabio, among other dignitaries, also witnessed the church service.
