An Osun APC chieftain calls on Nigerians to be patient with President Tinubu, assuring that the country’s challenges will soon be resolved. Learn more about the political leader’s message to the nation.

A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state, Mr Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has called on Nigerians to give President Bola Tinubu time to address the country’s economic woes.

Mr Oyintiloye said with a bit of patience, all the hardships Nigerians are experiencing will become a thing of the past.

He said this in a conversation with journalists in Osogbo on Sunday.

Oyintiloye acknowledged that Nigerians are going through difficult times, asserting that the president is working day and night without sleep to make the economy healthy.

The APC leader also appealed to Nigerians to remember that the president is not the cause of the country’s economic crisis.

He, however, said the president’s overall economic policies, while appearing tough, are aimed at putting the country on the path to economic prosperity.

Oyintiloye said Tinubu took office at a time of economic decline, which necessitated institutional reforms and the understanding of Nigerians.

He said the president is gradually rebuilding the economy but needs the patience, prayers and support of all Nigerians to get things done.

Oyintiloye noted that the results of the president’s economic policies are beginning to emerge, noting that although the results are minimal, the future may not be as challenging.

He said the president is focused on economic reforms and diversification, while also advocating measures to boost other sectors of the economy, particularly agriculture, manufacturing, technology, maritime and the blue economy.

“Several initiatives are being implemented to improve the business environment, attract foreign direct investment and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

“With a little patience, all will be well and Nigeria will rise again,” he said.
