Getafe is reportedly interested in acquiring Umar Sadiq from Real Sociedad once the current season comes to a close.

Sadiq, the Nigerian international, has had a disappointing season at Real Sociedad following a challenging campaign in the previous term.

Last season, he was out of action for approximately seven months due to a ligament injury that required surgery.

Throughout this season, the towering forward has mainly been utilized as a substitute for Real Sociedad.

Despite his limited playing time, Sadiq has managed to score three goals in 26 league appearances for his current club.

Football Espana has reported that Getafe is prepared to extend a helping hand to Sadiq by offering him a loan deal for the 2024/25 season.

This move comes as Getafe seeks a replacement for Enes Unal, who departed for Bournemouth in the January transfer window under the management of Jose Bordalas.
