The preacher declared that since God has not revealed anyone to him, he will not tell Nigerians a lie about who to vote for.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has told Nigerians to ignore all predictions about how the country’s presidential election on February 25, 2023, will turn out.

Instead, the 80-year-old Pentecostal pastor urged Nigerians to prepare their permanent voter cards (PVCs) in order to cast a ballot for the candidate of their choice in the upcoming election.

Adeboye gave a speech on Friday night at the RCCG’s international headquarters along the congested Lagos-Ibadan Expressway at the organization’s monthly Holy Ghost service with the subject “wonderful.”

He said that anyone who tries to guess who will win the race for the top job in Aso Rock and take over from President Muhammadu Buhari is giving Nigerians bad information.

Adeboye warned his congregation on Friday night that “anyone who is prophesying today that this is the fellow who will win is fooling you.”

“You realise why?” God the Father has not yet spoken; he has not uttered anything. For whatever reason, he has remained relatively silent on this one.

Adeboye advised getting ready for the upcoming election by getting your PVCs ready. When it’s time to cast your ballot and God doesn’t say anything, follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I may or may not tell you if he tells me, though.

How Was Criticism Sent To The EFCC To Inquire Into Me?
Adeboye also said that his critics sent the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after him when he owned a private plane.

The general overseer of the RCCG said that he bought a plane so that he could travel and minister to parishes on different continents and in different countries.

He claimed there was a lot of “noise” about his possession of a private plane, which made him feel a little uncomfortable, but God reassured him and encouraged him to disregard his detractors.

He recalled, “Years ago, when the All-Powerful God gave us a jet, there was a lot of uproar; people were criticising me left, right, and center.”” They dispatched the EFCC to investigate me, asking questions like, “Where did he obtain the money to buy a jet, etc.”

“The commotion was loud.” Then, one day, I found myself in the air because I hadn’t purchased a jet for personal use and my workload had grown so large that commercial travel was no longer an option. You must wait for their schedule if you wish to travel commercially. I won’t be able to carry out what God has called me to do if I have to wait for their schedule.

“The noise level was high, and I started to feel a little uneasy.” Then, one day, I was floating high above the clouds during the day. When I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to “look out of the window,” I did so and noticed a rainbow.

“Normally, a rainbow is an arc, but the one I saw was entirely circular and enormous.” I noticed the outline of a plane when I peered down into the rainbow’s centre. The rainbow appeared to be moving, always remaining in the centre.

The Lord explained to me that the shadow you see is the shadow of this your plane. I’ve had my arm around you. I was told not to respond since he had me encircled.
