Gbenga Daniel, the ex-governor of Ogun State, pledged to aid the Nigerian government in their ongoing legal battle against Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Limited. The dispute resulted in some presidential jets being confiscated.
The Nigerian government was taken to court by Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment for a contract that was not successful, which had been started in 2007 under the guidance of the Ogun State government.
As a result of the legal conflict, three presidential airplanes that were undergoing routine maintenance in France came under seizure. However, after some time elapsed, one airplane was eventually released to the Nigerian government.

During Daniel’s tenure, the contract was signed in 2007.

According to the statement, Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel intends to collaborate with President and Commander-in-Chief Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in finding a peaceful resolution to the current matter. The senator is also willing to provide pertinent records that may aid the Federal Government’s efforts during arbitration and court proceedings.
