Gasperini Expresses Concern Over Lookman’s Move to PSG

After spending two seasons with La Dea, Lookman is now determined to join the Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain.

Teun Koopmeiners, another striker on the team, is eager to become a part of Italian powerhouse Juventus in Serie A.

On Monday, Lookman made a request to not be chosen for Atalanta’s 4-0 victory over Leece.

Gasperini acknowledged that he owes the Nigeria international and Koopmeiners a great deal, but expressed disappointment with the timing of the transfer saga.

Koopmeiners and Lookman have been truly genuine with me, and I am deeply indebted to them. It’s unfortunate that this issue has emerged right before the season begins,” lamented Gasperini in an interview with DANZ.

It is particularly troubling that these problems arise during the ongoing championship. Coping with such disruptions at this point is undesirable. The situation would not have caused as many difficulties had it arisen in July.
