The All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, who is in power, has praised the Supreme Court’s order upholding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election victory.
In a statement released by his chief press secretary, Mr. Edwin Olofu, Ganduje stated that all allegations made by the opposition political parties regarding the manipulation of the presidential vote in President Tinubu’s favour have been refuted by the ruling.
Ganduje said that President Tinubu will now be able to focus on carrying out the APC’s Renewed Hope agenda for the benefit of Nigerians as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision.
Ganduje urged Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to put aside their differences and work with President Tinubu to reorient the nation towards sustainable growth and prosperity.
“As patriots, it is our duty to combine our resources in order to advance Nigeria, which is our country.” I commend Obi and Atiku for their tenacious efforts to expand the bounds of our legal system and democracy.
It’s democracy here. Another win for the nation’s democratic system is Tinubu’s triumph. After President Tinubu’s second term ends in 2031, there is still opportunity for both Obi and Atiku to fulfil their dreams of becoming president, he pointed out.
Thus, Ganduje urged all Nigerians, regardless of their political inclinations, to support the President in order to guarantee that he continues to advance democracy and put the nation on a sustainable course.
