In order to garner support for the APC candidate in the state’s February 3 senate bye poll, he was in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State, alongside Governor and Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Hope Uzodimma.

At the August 27 Stadium in Damaturu, the National Chairman was accompanied by the Governor of the host state, Mai Mala Buni, the Minister of Police Affairs, Sen. Ibrahim Gaidam, and Dr. Ahmed Lawan, the President of the 9th Senate.

Speaking to the large crowd, Ganduje gave the assurance that the APC National Working Committee would do everything in its power to help Musa Mustapha, well known as Coolas, the party’s candidate in Yobe, as well as every other candidate running in the bye elections.

According to The Nation, Musa Mustapha has been nominated to be the party’s flag bearer.

If he prevails, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nominated Minister, Senator Ibrahim Geidam, his son-in-law, will be replaced.

The Yobe State people’s steadfast support for the party was praised by the National Party Chairman.

In the next polls, he asked them to preserve history by casting their votes in large numbers for the APC and their candidate.
