Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has said he has no grudges towards anyone ahead of the May 29 end of his term.
The Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Muhammad Garba, signed the Eid el Fitr greeting from the Kano helmsman.
After serving in the government for more than 20 years, the former deputy governor claimed to have many reasons to give thanks to Allah.
He said that he had pardoned people who had harmed him, and he urged those he had offended “to reciprocate the same” by pardoning him.
The next government was asked by the governor to see that the initiatives started by his administration were completed.
According to Ganduje, governance is about continuity, thus it is necessary to complete any project that is being carried out using taxpayer funds.
The governor encouraged Muslims to “imbibe the lessons of Ramadan which teaches love and support for one another” in his plea.
In addition, Garba said that ardent prayers for peace and progress are needed in Kano and throughout Nigeria.
