Actress Bimbo Akinsanya has taken a stand in support of her colleague Funke Akindele amidst allegations that she abandoned their deceased junior colleague, Jumoke Aderounmu.
Bimbo shared a heartfelt Instagram post where she recounted an incident from 10 years ago.
She revealed that the late Folake Oshadare, a makeup artist in Nollywood, had approached her for financial assistance to purchase medication for her cancer treatment.
Bimbo was deeply moved when she learned that Funke Akindele had been providing monthly financial support to Folake for her medical needs.
However, at that time, Funke was out of the country and unreachable. Bimbo’s admiration for Funke’s kindness and generosity led her to share this story with her sister and mother, leaving her in tears.
Despite acknowledging that Funke is not perfect, Bimbo firmly believes that Funke is an angel in her own unique way.
She urges everyone to recognize Funke’s positive qualities and asks for God’s continued guidance and protection for them all.
