Funke Akindele, a well-known producer and actress in Nollywood, responded to detractors of her post on Meta’s recently created Threads platform.
Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, unveiled Threads on Wednesday. It is a text-based program similar to Twitter.
When the actress joined the app, she published photos of herself showing off her attire and passion for shoes.
Funke commented on the post by saying, “I love shoes.”
Some users found her post to be off-putting and blasted her for being immature.
The actress said in response to the criticism: “I can write whatever I want. Me grab my thread, Shebi.”
