Fully Clothed, Tyson Fury Weighs Four Stone Heavier Than Oleksandr Usyk

Tyson Fury, fully clothed, is reported to be four stone heavier than Oleksandr Usyk, setting the stage for a potential heavyweight showdown with significant weight differences.

Tyson Fury, fully dressed, weighed in at a career-high 20 stone and 1 pound for his heavyweight world title fight against champion Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Ukraine’s Usyk is set to defend his WBA (Super), WBC, and WBO titles against two-time champion Fury at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

Wearing a leather jacket, white trousers, and a baseball cap—which he left on while stepping onto the scales—Fury weighed in at four stone heavier than his opponent.

He appeared more relaxed than he had been all week, even going so far as to shake hands with Usyk’s team.

However, the 36-year-old Briton appeared keen to finish Friday’s weigh-in quickly and glanced away after only seven seconds in their final face-off. The previous day, they had engaged in an 11-minute stare-down.

The fighter from Morecambe left without participating in an on-camera interview.

When asked about his feelings, Usyk simply responded, “Nothing.”

The 37-year-old clinched a split decision victory for the undisputed title in May, handing Fury his first career defeat.

He was also wearing a full tracksuit as he stepped on the scales, which made it challenging to assess his conditioning and physique. He weighed in at 16st 1lb, five pounds lighter than for their first fight.

“You can analyze it in any way you want, but tomorrow night you’ll discover who is the best,” said Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren.
