Fubara faces the risk of having their correspondence rejected by the Rivers Assembly
The Rivers State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Mr. Martin Amaehwule, has expressed its dissatisfaction with the behavior of the staff members at the Brick House.
During a recent sitting at the Assembly Chambers, Amaehwule revealed that the Clerk of Government House has been neglecting to receive letters and correspondence from the legislative arm of the state.
This issue arose after the government staff sent a correspondence regarding the commissioner-nominees, which was ignored by the Government House.
In response, Amaehwule warned that the House would no longer accept any correspondence from the executive arm. Interestingly, when the House called for the screening of the nine nominees, they were simply asked to take a bow and leave, as they had previously served as commissioners in the state.
Despite attempts to obtain a reaction from the state government, calls made to the Commissioner for Information went unanswered.
