Governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are presently convening in Abuja to address the ongoing crisis affecting their opposition party.
The ongoing meeting in Abuja is taking place at the lodge of Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.
In addition to Mohammed, the governors in attendance are Siminalayi Fubara from Rivers, Ademola Adeleke from Osun, Dauda Lawal from Zamfara, and Caleb Mutfwang from Plateau.
While others are awaited, members of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC), the Board of Trustees (BoT), and other notable party members.
While journalists don’t have access to the meeting’s agenda, recent discussions have largely focused on appointing a substantive chairman for the party, organizing a national executive committee meeting, and preparing for the upcoming Ondo state governorship election.
