In the previous game against Ghana, Simon came on as a substitute, while Yusuf and Sadiq remained on the bench throughout the entire duration of the match.
Simon, who plays for Nantes, is versatile enough to also play as a wing-back, which could increase his chances of securing a spot in the starting lineup if interim head coach Finidi George decides to stick with the 3-5-2 formation used against Ghana.
Yusuf is expected to replace the injured Frank Onyeka in the starting lineup. Onyeka sustained an injury in the game against Ghana and has returned to his club, Brentford.
Sadiq, the Real Sociedad striker, will lead the attack after being overlooked in favor of Cyriel Dessers in the match against the Black Stars.
The game will take place at the Grand Stade de Marrakech and is scheduled to kick off at 9pm Nigeria time.
