Sir Celestine Omehia has strongly criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, urging him to curb his hunger for power and greed and allow Governor Siminalayi Fubara to carry out his duties. Omehia believes that Wike’s insatiable desire for power is causing him distress and instability. In response to Wike’s recent live television interview in Abuja, Omehia stated that Wike’s uncontrolled outbursts are a result of a confused mind.
He claims that Wike’s anger stems from his failed ambition for a third term and the realization that his pursuit of power is self-centered rather than for the benefit of Rivers State or the South-South region.
Omehia also accuses Wike of being a habitual liar and disrespecting elders. He questions why Wike is bothered by their support for the Governor and the Federal Government under President Tinubu, and wonders if Wike wants perpetual political warfare even after elections are over. Omehia concludes by suggesting that Wike’s behavior is madness.
