Rev. Fr. Chinenye Oluoma, a well-known Nigerian Catholic priest, has urged Nigerians to ask their state governors what they did with the 13% derivation revenue that President Muhammadu Buhari released.

Fr. Oluoma claimed that Nigerians are now aware of people who oppose restructuring and devolution in the nation.

He made this known on Monday via his Twitter account.

After Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike revealed that President Buhari has paid the delayed 13% derivation revenue owing to the Niger Delta states from 1999 to the present, the assertion was made.

Remember that Governor Wike disclosed during a project commissioning in Rivers that the fund’s President Buhari granted to the Niger Delta states were utilized to develop the projects in the state.

“If your state is in NDDC, Wike has announced that Buhari paid all of them their delayed 13% derivation,” the eminent preacher penned.
What did your governor do after seeing all the improvements Wike completed in Rivers State?

“This Buhari is not a saint, but he is exposing the actual criminals in Nigerian politics, which some people love to condemn and others love to despise.

“You are not prepared for Nigeria’s redemption if you like criticizing the federal administration but are not now so enraged as to invade your state government house.

“I’m not going to give in to the need to describe you with derogatory but accurate terms.
I’ve come close to passing out when yelling at the federal government about restructuring and decentralization.
It is now very evident who opposes devolution and reform.

“I suddenly realized that they had the power to either make it happen or not. They don’t want it since doing so would reveal their laziness and questionable business practices under the guise of government. Nigeria is some kind of chimaera, and we are its eager collaborators.
