If granted another opportunity to run the state’s affairs, the outgoing governor pledged that he would come out of prison a more capable leader.
He clarified that the encounter had taught him priceless lessons that will make him a better leader for Taraba State’s citizens.
“I learned a lot while in Kuje Prison and in the hospital,” Nyame declared. I shall lead the people of Taraba State more effectively if I am given the chance again because of the experience I have gathered.
He counselled leaders to be strong in the face of difficulties and emphasised the value of resilience and faith.
Nyame, who completed just four of a fourteen-year sentence, said that his detention was brought on by political reasons.
He urged Nigerians to prioritise measures that improve the lives of their citizenry and urged them to be frugal with their spending.
