Operatives from the Adamawa State Police Command successfully apprehended four individuals suspected of armed robbery and managed to recover the tricycle that was allegedly stolen from Nuhu Muhammad.

The incident occurred on Sunday, April 7, when Nuhu Muhammad was attacked near Jimeta Bridge in Yola, the state capital, prompting him to raise an alarm.

According to a statement released by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspected robbers were identified as Abdullahi Yusuf (22 years old), Umar Yahaya (20), Hassan Ishaka (24), and Shuaibu Abubakar (19).

All four suspects are said to be residents of Kwabura village in Hawal Local Government Area of Borno State.

The police explained that the suspects boarded the tricycle as passengers and then used force and dangerous weapons to threaten the tricyclist once they reached Jimeta Bridge, eventually pushing him out of the vehicle and fleeing with it.
