A signed letter from Kunlere to the party chairman of Igbotako Ward 2, Igbotako, Okitipupa Local Government Area, contains his resignation.

On Thursday at Okitipupa, the letter was made accessible to press reporters.

With effect from January 24, I hereby present my letter of resignation from the PDP.

“I genuinely thank you and the other party members for your assistance and collaboration over the time I have been a member of the party. God bless you and thank you.

By God’s grace, I shall choose who to vote for following the primaries.

The letter stated, “As of right now, I have not initiated any discussion with any political party.”
