Former Military Spokesperson Onyeuko Dies After Illness

The director of procurement at the Defence Headquarters Department of Logistics was a retired army general.

Major General Bernard Onyeuko (rtd. ), who served as the Defence Headquarters’ director of procurement and director of defence media operations, has been officially pronounced dead.

The military general passed away on Saturday, August 26, reportedly following a brief, unexplained illness, however the cause of his death is still unknown as of the time of publication.

Onyeuko reportedly reported feeling uncomfortable on Saturday morning and was brought to a private hospital where he was subsequently declared dead.
