Chidiebere Okoh, the 2023 House of Assembly candidate for Bende North Constituency in Abia State under the Action Democratic Party (ADP), along with his supporters from the five electoral wards that make up the state constituency, have made the decision to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This includes the ward chairmen, youth, and women leaders of the ADP.
The announcement was made by Okoh during a gathering at the Okoko Item Civic Hall, where he emphasized that his decision to join the APC was not solely for the purpose of contesting elections, but to collaborate with Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who represents Abia North Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate.
Okoh commended the leadership qualities displayed by the duo since assuming their respective positions.
