The killing of troops at Obikabia Junction by unidentified individuals has deeply saddened Okezie Ikpeazu, the immediate past governor of Abia State, who described the incident as savage and immoral.

Ikpeazu said in a statement on Saturday that the soldiers’ deaths don’t reflect who we are as a nation and that it is hard to comprehend such cruelty against soldiers who were serving a legitimate mission to protect our people.
