For years, I battled my addiction to pornography. — Spyro
Popular singer Spyro, whose real name is Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, has admitted that he had a pornography addiction for many years.
He told Echoo Room about this recently in an interview.
Contrary to rumours that he berates his colleagues for leading careless lives, he insisted that his purpose is not to spread religion through the secular music industry.
But the “Who’s Your Guy” singer remained adamant that musicians could still earn a living by producing good music.
I struggled for years with pornography, he admitted. I am not a saint. This is what I experience. Along with you, I’m in this room. By claiming to be holy, I mean nothing. Nobody is sacred; nobody.
And I’m not going to tell folks they need to be holy, I promise. As with you, I am a human. To the best of my ability, I’m just expressing that.
OBASANJO NEWS24 reports that Spyro recently created controversy when he implied in a podcast interview that Shallipopi’s music encourages scammers.
