For the Opebi Link Bridge, LASG unveiled traffic diversion strategy
The Thomas Ajufo inward-Sheraton Link Bridge axis reconstruction project will divert traffic for four weeks, according to the Lagos State Government.
This was announced in a statement released on Sunday in Lagos by Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation.
He stated that the diversion would begin on October 16 due to the Opebi Link Bridge’s ongoing construction.

Drivers and other road users would have access to alternate routes throughout the diversion period, according to Osiyemi.
“As the second lane must be blocked due to construction, motorists travelling in the direction of Opebi Road will only be able to utilise one side of the Opebi Road Carriageway.
Additionally, he added, “Drivers connecting to Ikeja Under Bridge from Allen Avenue/Toyin Street will use Toyin Street via Ola Ayinde Street to continue their journeys.”
In order to maintain a steady flow of traffic, he asked drivers to heed traffic signs and the instructions of the appropriate traffic management authority. (NAN)
