For alleged online fraud, the EFCC detains a clergyman, twins, and students in Kwara

At Ilorin, the capital of Kwara, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, detained 28 people on Thursday who were allegedly “Yahoo guys.”

As a result of information about fraudsters working in the region, the arrest was made in Mandate Area.

Among the suspects are a clergyman, twin siblings, six students from different colleges, a mining operator, and a tiler.

Clergyman Toheeb Albarka, brothers Lambe Kehinde and Taye, Francis Stephen, Olabode Yusuf, Musbaudeen Akorede, Adedamola Samson, Olarewaju Adisa Taofeek, and Adewale Oloro are the suspects.

Undergraduate students Paul Ayomide, Agboola Marvellous, Adebisi Olatunde, Kayode Aderemi, and Moshood Okunola.

Olaleye Solomon, Akinade Samuel, Damilola Shagaya, Muhammad Awal, Adam Mubarak, Ogundiran Nathaniel, Jamiu Ishola, Dauda Tunde, Abdullahi Sikiru, Afeez Adegoke, Jordan Adeyinka, Ojeniyi Boluwatife, and Omogbolahan Ibrahim are some of the others.

Ten exotic automobiles, several laptop brands, cell phones, a printer, and other items were recovered, according to a statement from EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren.

When the ongoing investigations are finished, the accused will be charged, Uwujaren stated.
