Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has been advised to focus more on the state’s security and human development issues by Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, the New Nigeria People’s Party’s (NNPP) presidential candidate in the 2023 elections.

At a Sallah tribute given by the Governor on Monday, Kwankwaso said that his commitment to promoting women’s empowerment and education programmes that improve the lives of Kano people is in line with the principles of the Kwankwasiyya worldview.

Kwankwaso highlighted the significance of efficient oversight to guarantee the fair distribution of empowerment grants, drawing on his background as a former governor.

In response, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed gratitude to Senator Kwankwaso for mentoring him and reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to sustaining the Kwankwasiyya movement’s tenets for Kano State’s ongoing advancement and development.
