PDP chieftain Daniel Bwala has asked President Bola Tinubu to put more effort into developing Nigeria rather than travelling abroad for “photo ops.”
On Tuesday, the former politician stated while appearing on a broadcast on Arise Television.
In response to recent accords announced by the presidency, Bwala stated that Tinubu has obtained significant investments for the nation from foreign organisations.
The former legislator said that there has been little change in the lives of Nigerians because problems in the healthcare, labour, and education sectors are still there and have not been adequately addressed.
If, for instance, it is true, that would have been fantastic news. Sadly, no, it is not.
“Take note: You won’t see anything from Dubai in terms of investment in the next year. Because these are merely photo ops and statements, you won’t see much from India in terms of investment. Nothing is precise, there are no deadlines, and there are no deliverables.
Every investment plan or promise they claimed to have acquired could only have been established by them. No investor in India has ever expressed in writing that they are truly committed to doing this, he claimed.
The President, he continued, could only grow and make the nation appealing when he put domestic policy, national security, and interests first.
