Flying Eagles will play Gambia in the U-20 AFCON semifinals

With a 5-0 demolition of South Sudan on Friday, The Gambia secured their spot in the semi-finals of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Moreover, Abdoulai Bojang’s group has qualified for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2023.

In the semifinals, the Young Scorpions and Flying Eagles will engage in a West African rivalry match.

At the Cairo International Stadium on Monday, the semifinal match will take place.

With a spirited 1-0 victory over the Ugandan Hippos on Thursday in Alexandria, the Flying Eagles secured their spot in the semifinals.

In contrast to the Flying Eagles, who have lost just once, the Gambians are undefeated in the match.
