Flavour N’abania, the renowned Nigerian high-life vocalist whose real name is Chinedu Okoli, recently shared an experience where he was requested to exit the stage in order for P-Square to conduct their performance.

During the “In My Opinion” podcast, Flavour disclosed the revelations.

He stated that he initiated his musical journey by serving as a choir conductor and drummer for the church.

But, his career took a turning point after he met P-Square.

“I recall a day with P-square,” he recounted. “It was back when they had just released their hit track ‘Temptation.’ They were promoting an event and the organizers brought them to perform at City Centre in Enugu.”

My spot already had a devoted following, with fans showing up every weekend regardless of other events happening in Enugu. It was always packed and bustling with activity.

“While I was playing, the promoters brought Psquare and they arrived immediately. The manager greeted them with a request to turn off their equipment.”

“I turned off the microphone, handed it over and took my seat. Moments later, Paul of P-square grabbed the mic and uttered his now-famous line – ‘This na temptation’ – causing a commotion in every direction.”
