During his appearance on the ‘B And N’ episode of the Amazon Music podcast, the talented artist expressed his unique approach to music, stating, “I don’t make Afrobeats.
I blend different elements together. Whether it’s R&B or pop, you can always hear the Yoruba influence in my music, which distinguishes it from American or British music.”
Fireboy believes that Nigerian artists should capitalize on their newfound global recognition and work towards establishing a solid foundation for the music industry in their home country.
