Three changes have been made to Super Eagles head coach Finidi George’s starting lineup for tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Benin Republic.
Stanley Nwabali of Chippa United will continue to start in goal following his strong showing in last Friday’s 1-1 draw with South Africa.
The identical backline of Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Benjamin Tanimu, and Calvin Bassey has also been chosen by Finidi.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will give way to Frank Onyeka of Brentford in the midfield.

Together with Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze is also favoured over Kelechi Iheanacho in the starting lineup.
