Finally, police in Adamawa have detained INEC REC Hudu Yunusa-Ari

Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Adamawa State, has been taken into custody by the police.

This was confirmed in a statement released on Tuesday by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer.

Hudu has been demanded to be arrested by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) due to the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) fraudulent proclamation of Aisha Dahiru Ahmed as the victor of the supplemental election.

The police spokeswoman confirmed that Hudu was detained on Tuesday in Abuja.
