The Labour Party is positive that the Supreme Court will rule in its favour when it hears the case pertaining to the presidential election on Thursday.

The national legal officer of the party, Kehinde Edun, informed reporters about it on Wednesday.

He said that Mr. Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, will be declared the election’s victor.

“We anticipate victory because it is what justice requires and what the people of Nigeria desire.” We’re not going to give up. Edun stated, “We have made our case to the court.

“We are optimistic that Nigerians and the Labour Party will win. We are aware that celebrations would abound throughout Nigeria,” he continued.

In light of the Supreme Court’s decision to set tomorrow for the delivery of its ruling in the two appeals filed by Obi and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), contesting the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the presidential election, Edun’s remarks are noteworthy.

The Supreme Court is the nation’s highest court, and its ruling on the petition for a presidential election will be definitive.
