FG will revoke abandoned road projects costing more than N6 trillion

The President has authorised several road construction projects and plans to impose tolls on a number of the nation’s roadways, according to Works Minister Dave Umahi.
The Federal Government is thinking about ending a few abandoned projects that it inherited from earlier governments that have no obvious financing source.
In a press conference with state house reporters following a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, revealed this.
Umahi also revealed that the President had given the go-ahead for a number of road construction projects and had plans to introduce road tolls nationwide.
